Operations & Procurement Manager
Studio MBM is a New York City design firm seeking a creative, well-rounded, motivated and organized Project Designer with 4+ years of experience. Our current work includes residential, interiors, commercial projects and furniture design.
We are seeking an experienced
Operations & Procurement Manager
to oversee the full lifecycle of procurement logistics. The ideal candidate is deeply experienced in
procurement, logistics, accounting coordination, and timeline management
within a high end interior design environment. You are exceptionally organized, process-driven, and comfortable owning complex workflows—from order placement through installation—while supporting the operational backbone of a growing studio.
Candidate should meet the following criteria:
4-6 years of experience in operations, procurement, or project logistics within a high-end interior design, architecture, or related creative studio
Advanced proficiency in Studio Designer (required)
Deep understanding of high end procurement processes, timelines, and documentation
Highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven
Strong skills in Microsoft Excel and Google Suite
Professional, clear communicator with strong follow-through
Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented
Procurement & Logistics
Oversee all FF&E procurement from order placement through final installation
Prepare, manage, and track purchase orders, deposits, balances, and invoicing using Studio Designer
Track lead times, shipping schedules, customs, warehousing, and delivery timelines
Coordinate with vendors, fabricators, artisans, freight carriers, and receiving warehouses
Maintain accurate procurement logs, budgets, and status reports
Manage inventory, warehouse coordination, and system archiving
Manage back-end accounting coordination including invoicing, basic bookkeeping support, and expense tracking
Manage specific project calendars and scheduling
Occasionally assist with deliveries, pickups, or site-related logistics
This is a full-time position in-office at our New York studio in Soho, and starts January 2026. Must be able to work in the US. Salary and benefits are commensurate with experience.
