Pay Details All successful candidates must pass an ASME weld test and Welder Class A or B will be determined based upon results.

Class A Welders:

Starting

at $25.50

Can go up to $28.00 after 90‑day review

$2000 Sign On Bonus

Class B Welders:

Starting

at $23.50

Can go up to $26.00 after 90‑day review

$1000 Sign On Bonus

The ASME Welder is responsible for the assembly and welding of custom bladder tanks, strainers, and valve products. These products require multiple components, of various custom engineered sizes that are welded with Mig, Flux Core, Tig and Sub Arc in accordance with ASME codes. Welds are required to be watertight. This position requires a strong attention to detail with a high level of craftsmanship.

Primary Responsibilities

Lead by example with a Safety First mindset in every task

Weld products that preform strictly within defined pressure ranges and tolerances according to ASME codes.

Complete assignments based on production needs.

Understand procedures and processes for department.

Work with colleagues in Production, Materials, Engineering and other plant functions to achieve production, quality, and on-time delivery goals.

Make adjustments to machines, tools and conduct minor maintenance on machines and tools in accordance to maintenance schedule and specifications.

Participate in maintaining a high-quality manufacturing environment. Contribute suggestions that will improve products, and processes which in turn deliver quality and production.

Complete all necessary paperwork and documentation neatly and accurately.

Verify workmanship quality by conducting tests to evaluate weld quality and tolerance.

Follow company process standards, procedures and company policies on the shop floor including PPE use, proper part handling, sound equipment set‑ups, daily equipment PM and 5S.

Additional duties as assigned

Required

2+ years of welding experience

Must pass an ASME weld test

Proven ability to safely operate a forklift (must be certified)

Familiarity with welding tools and procedures

Familiarity with engineering blueprints and schematics

Prior experience with material handling in a manufacturing environment

Preferred

Formal training and certification a plus

Physical Requirements The following physical activities are essential to successfully perform this job:

Standing/Walking : Up to 6 hours per shift

Lifting/Carrying : Regular lifting of materials up to 50 lbs

Bending/Stooping/Kneeling : Frequent throughout shift

Reaching/Manual Dexterity : Frequent use of hands and arms for tool operation and assembly work

Vision/Hearing/Communication : Clear vision and hearing required for safety and effective communication

Pushing/Pulling/Climbing : Periodic pushing or pulling of equipment or materials; occasional ladder use

Work Environment: This position is based in a welding and fabrication facility with exposure to typical industrial shop conditions. The environment may include:

Exposure to heat, sparks, smoke, and fumes from welding operations

Moderate to loud noise levels from machinery and tools

Must be willing and able to work outside in a manufacturing / warehouse environment with varying temperatures

Must wear personal protective equipment (PPE)
