Fabrication Technician/Machinist
to join our Ecofit Modernization team in
West Chester, OH . The role is a 40‑hour standard work week with potential overtime. All tools, assets and equipment needed for success are provided.

Responsibilities
Inspection of materials and/or parts for conformance with Schneider Electric and industry procedures, specifications and quality standards.
Reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
Assisting in the design and fabrication of prototypes, products and product enhancements.
Conducting quality inspections of finished product, parts, units, or processes to ensure quality standards are met; evaluating and initiating resolution of non‑conformance of material and/or product.
Performing work with a focus on safety and maintaining a safe work environment.
Utilizing a wide variety of hand tools, air tools, and measuring equipment to perform tasks.
Setting up metalwork machinery including waterjet, turret punch, drill presses, brakes, and shears.
Fabricating and constructing metal and copper components.
Grinding and finishing completed products.
Qualifications
A high school diploma; technical degree or equivalent experience preferred.
Experience with metal fabrication and/or machining, including CNC machines.
Experience reading and interpreting engineering blueprints.
Knowledge of basic mathematics.
Ability to lift and manipulate large metal objects.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
