Friday & Saturday | 6:00 AM–2:15 PM as needed

Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Class A Fitter Welder to join a high‑level fabrication team in Tulsa. The Class A Fitter Welder will work on waste heat recovery equipment designed and built to ASME Code, including gas boilers, firetubes, watertubes, steam drums, economizers, superheaters, and pressure vessels.
Welding & Fitting Tests Required
6''Sch 80 – 6G GTAW (Stringer/Hot Pass)
SMAW Fill + Cap
3G FCAW – 1/2” Plate Test
Fitter Test
Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures
Perform layout, cutting, fitting, and tacking of pressure and non‑pressure parts
Work with cylinders, nozzles, tubes, tubesheets, headers, structural components, and more
Utilize precision leveling equipment to ensure accurate orientation
Perform welding using FCAW, SMAW, and GTAW processes
Weld in all positions—flat, horizontal, vertical, and overhead
Work with carbon steel, stainless steel, chrome, and nickel alloys
Use carbon arc gouging and cutting torch proficiently
Meet all ASME Code, company, and client requirements
Perform additional shop duties as needed
Requirements
5+ years of experience in a manufacturing/fabrication environment (required)
Ability to pass X‑rays and other NDT testing
Strong math skills and mechanical aptitude
Ability to read and follow technical drawings and weld procedures
Experience with pressure vessels or ASME‑coded equipment is highly preferred
Strong safety record and ability to work in a fast‑paced heavy fabrication setting
