$22.00/hr - $23.00/hr CONTRACT : 12-month extendable MUST HAVES
Bachelors degree in technical or scientific field or equivalent experience 1+ years experience working in laboratory environment Responsibilities
Performs analyses of raw materials, packaging materials and bulk, intermediate and finished product from other sections of quality control, chemical manufacturing and manufacturing. Ensures that all products received meet established quality standards and requirements. Determines conformance to specifications for a particular physical, performance or chemical property. Compiles data and results for documentation of test procedures. Assignments are routine to semi‑routine in nature. Calibrates and maintains lab equipment as needed. Revises and updates standard operating procedures as needed. May participate on a project team to deliver more strategic initiatives, under moderate supervision. May train newer team members on applicable methods and procedures. Specialized knowledge generally of a particular area, system or equipment. Requires specific training and/or certification. Applies some advanced skills to the position or specialization. Works under moderate supervision and is independently able to follow standard procedures to accomplish tasks. Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Skills
High school diploma or equivalency Specialized or advanced training in science, electronics or related field Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment Detail oriented Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations Basic computer skills with competency using standard software packages (Word, Excel, Google Sheets) Thorough understanding of appropriate safety procedures Preferred requirements
