Ready to accelerate your career while helping our customers move forward? As a technician at Penske, you’ll perform preventive maintenance and minor repairs on the newest, best‑maintained fleet of vehicles in the industry. You will help our customers keep their vehicles in shape and on the road.

Main Responsibilities
Ensuring vehicles are maintained and safe for customers.
Using Penske’s tools and technologies to log, research, and complete repairs, including basic diagnostics.
Performing preventive maintenance repairs—such as tire replacement or rotation—and component lubrication and replacement, some electrical repairs, and cooling‑system maintenance on gas and diesel vehicles.
Partnering with management to learn new skills through Penske’s technician training and hands‑on coaching.
Working on other projects and tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred); vocational or technical certification in vehicle repair preferred.
Basic mechanical aptitude and 1–2 years of automotive or diesel repair experience (preferred).
Valid driver’s license.
Ability to solve problems and comfort using tools.
Excellent customer service, communication, and teamwork skills.
Basic computer skills.
Ability to follow specific instructions, guidelines, rules, regulations, and maintain DOT, OSHA, and Penske safety policies.
Regular, predictable, full attendance required.
For driving duties, compliance with DOT and required driver qualification file.
Willingness to work required schedule, location, complete employment application, background screening, drug screen, and physical; potential travel for training.
Physical Requirements
Frequent movement; standing, walking, climbing, bending, and sitting for extended periods.
Use of hands repeatedly to grasp, reach, handle tools or controls.
Ability to work safely at heights and in all weather conditions.
Capacity to regularly lift or move up to 50lbs (23kg), occasionally up to 100lbs (45kg), and push/pull truck tires exceeding 100 pounds.
