Role Description
On Deck AC LLC is seeking a dedicated Heating Air Conditioning Service Technician that specializes in light industrial and commercial applications for a full-time, on-site role located in Lakeland, FL. Responsibilities include installing new light commercial and residential systems in a light industrial/commercial environment, diagnosing and troubleshooting HVAC systems, performing maintenance and repairs, conducting preventive maintenance, and ensuring all work complies with safety and environmental regulations. The technician will also interact with customers to address questions, provide recommendations, and ensure a high level of satisfaction. This position requires attention to detail and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Qualifications
General trade and safety knowledge. Proficiency in installing HVAC systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting HVAC systems and resolving technical issues. Experience in maintenance and repair, including conducting preventive maintenance checks and ensuring system functionality. Knowledge of EPA regulations and certifications related to refrigeration and environmental compliance. Strong customer service skills and a commitment to ensuring customer satisfaction. Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities. Valid driver’s license and ability to work on-site in various conditions. Previous HVAC experience and relevant certifications are a plus.
