Base pay range $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr
Job Overview Boutique Elder Law and Estate Planning firm seeks a highly motivated and experienced Elder Law, Estate Planning Paralegal to join our team. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and eager to grow within a collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Establish, organize, and maintain client files
Monitor calendars, track deadlines, and document case progress
Input case data into case management software and confirm case status with attorneys
Maintain ongoing client communication and provide regular case updates
Schedule document executions and prepare drafts of advance directives
Prepare and file deeds and related legal documents
Answer and route incoming phone calls in a professional manner
Verify outstanding case balances and coordinate with attorneys, clients, and providers
Participate in educational opportunities to expand knowledge and skills
Contribute to firm goals by proactively seeking ways to add value to client service
Qualifications
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with HotDocs and Time Matters (a plus)
Excellent research, organizational, and communication skills
Attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
