Join Our Team as an Experienced Family Law Paralegal!
Salary
$45,000 - $55,000/yr. (with Family Law experience) Schedule
8 am - 5 pm Key Responsibilities
Draft and prepare pleadings, discovery, subpoenas, and correspondence for family law matters, including divorce, custody, support, and protective orders. Manage case files from intake through resolution, ensuring accuracy and meeting critical deadlines. Prepare financial disclosures, exhibit lists, and trial notebooks with precision and attention to detail. Communicate professionally and compassionately with clients, courts, and opposing counsel. Maintain attorney calendars and coordinate hearings, mediations, and depositions. File documents electronically through state and federal court systems. Conduct legal research and present clear, concise summaries for attorney review. Support attorneys with trial preparation, courtroom logistics, and case strategy as needed. Qualifications
Minimum 3-5 years of family law paralegal experience required. Strong working knowledge of local and state family court rules and filing procedures. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency with legal software (Clio, MyCase, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to handle confidential matters with professionalism and discretion. Highly organized and able to balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Paralegal certification or degree in Legal Studies preferred (or equivalent experience). Preferred Traits
