Machine Operator II – 3rd Shift (BU)

Starting Pay: $21.00 per hour plus $1.50 shift differential. Shift: 3rd; Start time: 8:30 PM.

This is a full‑time position in a food manufacturing environment with opportunities for advancement.
What You Will Do
Set up and pre‑run equipment to ensure proper production start‑up
Control line speeds, batch formula production rates, startup and shutdown of equipment, and overall product quality and safety
Perform quality checks and complete required paperwork (e.g., downtime, HACCP) using SAP SOP’s safety operation training
Use PPE such as bump caps, safety glasses, ear plugs, hair and beard nets, gloves, and safety shoes or rubber boots
Clean floors, fixtures, and walls with standard supplies to maintain a neat appearance
Disassemble and reassemble equipment as directed
Follow sanitation schedules and document routine cleaning of the facility and production line
Use and document chemical usage at stated concentrations for appropriate applications
Verify and document correct chemicals and concentrations are used, and that cleaning and sanitizing are complete to meet micro‑indicator test requirements
Conduct yourself in a manner consistent with company mission, values, code of ethics, policies, and other standards of conduct
What You Will Bring
High school diploma or GED preferred
1+ year of experience, ideally in a manufacturing setting
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform bending, carrying, pushing, pulling, and other physical tasks as needed
Ability to stand/walk on concrete and work in cold and/or hot temperatures, and Availability for overtime or weekends based on plant scheduling needs
