We’re seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Media Mill Operator to join our team. We are seeking a detail-oriented and safety-conscious Media Mill Operator to support our manufacturing operations. This role involves handling raw materials, operating specialized equipment, and ensuring product quality through standardized processes. The ideal candidate is dependable, organized, and committed to maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
Responsibilities:
Complete Respirator Fit Test and safety training
Participate in employee orientation and follow safety policies
Execute corrective actions as needed
Operate Premier Mill and Neos 20 Mill
Handle raw materials and manage weigh‑up processes for water‑based flexo and coating systems
Use scales accurately for material measurement
Operate post mixers, air mixers, and KH vessels
Package products according to specifications
Manage fillovers and batch ticket controls
Maintain accurate documentation and follow document control procedures
Operate forklifts safely and efficiently
Adhere to attendance guidelines and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)
Skills and Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in manufacturing or warehouse operations preferred
Ability to follow written procedures and standard work
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Comfortable lifting up to 50 lbs and working in a physically active role
Forklift certification or willingness to obtain
Basic computer and math skills
Commitment to safety, quality, and teamwork
Document nonconformances and implement corrective actions
Stop processes within scope when safety or quality is compromised
Exercise authority as defined in written procedures upon completion of qualification training
Strong eye‑hand coordination
Ability to perform repetitive tasks with consistency
Team‑oriented mindset with the ability to work independently for extended periods
