Job Overview Kowalske Kitchen & Bath is seeking a highly experienced Lead Carpenter to bring craftsmanship and leadership to our residential remodeling projects. This role requires expert-level skills in rough and finish carpentry, especially in kitchens, bathrooms, and rec rooms. If you’re a pro at cabinet hanging, trim work, and leading field operations on-site, we want you on our team. Responsibilities

Perform skilled rough and finish carpentry on residential remodels.

Lead field work for kitchen, bathroom, and rec room renovations.

Accurately install and finish cabinetry, trim, and built-ins.

Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications.

Ensure work meets quality standards and deadlines.

Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and project managers.

Uphold company values of cleanliness, professionalism, and customer service on all job sites.

Mentor apprentices or junior team members as needed.

Maintain tools, equipment, and a safe work environment.

Qualifications

7+ years of carpentry experience in residential remodeling.

Mastery of both rough and finish carpentry, including cabinet hanging and trim finishing.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Strong problem-solving and layout skills.

Ability to lead projects independently and collaborate with a team.

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Excellent attention to detail, time management, and communication skills.

Schedule Full-Time Monday to Friday

Location On-site work throughout southeastern Wisconsin Travel is local; no out-of-state or overnight travel required
