Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for a CNC Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities:
Operate and monitor CNC machining centers and lathes to produce precision components.
Set up machines, including tooling installation, fixture positioning, zeroing, and program loading.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and technical specifications to machine parts to exact tolerances.
Perform in-process inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other precision measurement tools.
Adjust machine offsets, feeds, and speeds as needed to maintain consistent part quality.
Troubleshoot machining issues, tool wear, and minor mechanical problems to minimize downtime.
Follow all safety protocols and maintain organization and cleanliness in machining and production areas.
Collaborate with team members, engineers, and supervisors to meet daily production goals.
Accurately document production data, inspection results, and tooling usage.
Participate in preventative maintenance and routine cleaning of equipment.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent; formal machining or manufacturing training preferred.
2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred, but strong candidates with less experience may be considered.
Proficiency with CNC mills and/or lathes.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and use precision measurement tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude, problem‑solving skills, and attention to detail.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration abilities.
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods.
Willingness to work varying shifts as needed.
Knowledge of G‑code, tooling, and machining processes is a plus.
