Legacy Talent Search is currently seeking candidates for an Entry-Level Machinist role in Phoenix, AZ.

Key Responsibilities
Operate, monitor, and maintain CNC and manual machining equipment to support efficient production operations.
Assist with setup of machines, including loading materials, installing tooling, and verifying program parameters.
Measure, inspect, and test machined parts to ensure accuracy and adherence to quality standards.
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and work instructions to complete machining tasks.
Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in machining and production areas.
Collaborate with team members to meet daily production goals and resolve operational challenges.
Accurately document machining processes, material usage, and quality checks.
Assist with routine cleaning, preventative maintenance, and basic troubleshooting of machining equipment.
Report any equipment malfunctions, quality concerns, or safety hazards to supervisors promptly.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; technical training or coursework in machining is preferred.
Ability to lift up to 50+ lbs and stand for extended periods in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude and eagerness to learn CNC and manual machining techniques.
Detail-oriented, with a commitment to producing high-quality parts.
Excellent teamwork, communication, and collaboration skills.
Willingness to work varying shifts as needed.
Basic knowledge of machining, tools, or measurement equipment (calipers, micrometers) is a plus, but training will be provided.
