Key Responsibilities
Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment.
Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues using schematics, diagrams, and test equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on electrical components to ensure optimal operation and minimize downtime.
Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical manuals.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations, electrical codes, and Lockout/Tagout procedures.
Calibrate, test, and adjust electrical equipment and instrumentation for optimal performance.
Collaborate with production and maintenance teams to identify and resolve electrical problems efficiently.
Recommended Qualifications
Journeyman Electrician license or equivalent state/provincial certification.
Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an Industrial Electrician in a manufacturing environment.
Proven ability to troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair PLCs, motor controls, and Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs).
Strong understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC) and strict adherence to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO).
Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Bonus Qualifications
PLC programming and troubleshooting experience
Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs) and motor control systems
Robotics maintenance and troubleshooting experience
Arc Flash Safety training or certification
Instrumentation and calibration experience
