We’re seeking a highly motivated NOC technician that efficiently works to ensure the stability, security, and performance of network and system infrastructures. A successful candidate will be detail‑oriented, proactive in identifying issues, and committed to improving network efficiency and uptime.

Requirements

3-5+ years of experience in a NOC, network administration, or IT support role.

Strong knowledge of networking, troubleshooting, and security best practices.

Hands‑on experience with:

Networking Equipment: Routers, switches, firewalls (Sophos, Aruba, Ruckus, Ubiquiti, etc.)

Protocols & Services: BGP, OSPF, VPN, TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, SNMP

Monitoring Tools: RMM/MDM/NMM (NinjaOne, SolarWinds, LionGard, or equivalent)

Cloud & Virtualization: Microsoft Azure, Hyper‑V, VMware

Certifications (preferred):

CompTIA Network+, Security+

Sophos Firewall Engineer, Fortinet NSE or equivalent security certification

You'll Also Need:

Excellent communication skills

Excellent documentation and record‑keeping skills

Desire and ability to learn new technology

Ability to work both independently and collaboratively with cross‑functional departments

Your Mission Will Be To:

Monitor and troubleshoot network/system issues, resolving incidents efficiently

Identify alert patterns and develop automation to reduce recurring issues

Generate reports on uptime, bandwidth, and system performance

Provide direct customer support as needed

Assist with network upgrades, security patches, and configuration improvements

Document troubleshooting steps, procedures, and best practices

Identify and mitigate network/system security risks

Implement, maintain, and repair routing, switching, firewalls, and remote access

Key Metrics

Network & System Uptime

Incident Resolution & SLA Performance

Bandwidth & Server Utilization Reporting Accuracy
