Position Summary 1,500 USD sign‑on bonus (first‑time hires only). The Automotive Technician plays a pivotal role within our automotive service team. As a vital member you learn and develop foundational skills in diagnosing, repairing and maintaining vehicles. Under the guidance of experienced technicians you handle hands‑on repairs of various automotive systems and services. You also conduct routine inspections, contribute to vehicle assessments and assist in repair procedures. Customer interaction occurs when explaining repair procedures and answering inquiries. The role demands mechanical aptitude, attention to detail and a commitment to high‑quality workmanship in a fast‑paced environment.
Pay Range $16.15 – $24.23 per hour. Our technicians earn a performance‑based flat‑rate pay model that rewards each task with a predetermined amount.
Responsibilities
Change oil and perform other scheduled maintenance services.
Perform inspections of steering, suspension and brake systems.
Install batteries and check electrical systems.
Perform tire maintenance.
Install parts.
Road test vehicles.
Obtain or maintain an ASE certification in at least one of A1–A8 within the first two years of employment. Company‑paid test and registration fees and a bonus for each test passed.
Minimum Qualifications
Ability to learn basic mechanical tasks.
Valid automobile driver’s license at all times and ability to drive customer and company vehicles.
Basic understanding of general automotive maintenance and tire repair services, including:
Oil changes
Basic inspections
Repairing tires
Reading, writing and math skills.
Preferred Qualifications
2 years of automotive repair experience, completion of a vocational‑technical school program in a related field or demonstrated skills via third‑party certificates/assessment.
ASE certification or equivalent external qualifications or training certifications.
