Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Perform various welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick) on different materials.
Inspect welds for quality, defects, and adherence to specifications.
Operate and maintain welding equipment, tools, and machinery.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components according to drawings.
Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and quality standards.
Grind, cut, and prepare metal surfaces for welding and finishing.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Strong understanding and adherence to safety protocols and procedures.
Experience with quality control and inspection of welded components.
Relevant welding certification (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with other fabrication equipment (e.g., grinders, plasma cutters, saws).
Ability to read and interpret complex blueprints and schematics for quality control.
Basic troubleshooting and maintenance skills for welding equipment.
Experience welding a variety of materials such as aluminum or stainless steel.
