$42,000 - $72,000 depending on experience

Key Responsibilities
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols to determine project specifications.
Operate various welding equipment (MIG, TIG, Stick) to join metal components according to specifications.
Inspect finished welds for quality, ensuring compliance with industry standards and project requirements.
Fabricate and assemble metal structures and components by cutting, shaping, and positioning materials.
Perform routine maintenance on welding equipment and tools to ensure optimal performance.
Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate PPE.
Grind, deburr, and finish welded surfaces to achieve desired smoothness and aesthetic quality.
Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in common welding processes (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and welding symbols.
Knowledge of welding safety protocols and quality control standards.
Relevant welding certification (e.g., AWS D1.1, ASME Section IX).
Experience welding various materials such as carbon steel, stainless steel, and aluminum.
Physical dexterity, stamina, and ability to perform tasks requiring heavy lifting.
Bonus Qualifications
Fabrication experience (cutting, fitting, assembly)
Forklift and/or overhead crane operation experience
Proficiency in using quality inspection tools (e.g., calipers, micrometers)
Experience with Lean manufacturing principles or 5S methodology
