Overview
The Garrett Companies is seeking a dedicated and skilled Service Technician to contribute to a high-performing team by delivering prompt, high-quality maintenance services that exceed resident expectations. This position requires a commitment to maintaining property aesthetics, safety, and functionality through proactive inspections, preventative maintenance, and timely repairs.
Location : Lennox at Copperleaf – Aurora, CO
Pay : $25.00 per hour + shared bonus!
Pay Range : $25.00/hr – $25.00/hr
Specific Duties & Responsibilities
Respond promptly to all service requests and complete them within 24 hours, prioritizing quality and resident satisfaction.
Communicate effectively and professionally with residents to ensure clear understanding and resolution of concerns.
Partner with the leasing team to ensure all vacant units are ready for move‑in per schedule and company standards.
Conduct daily inspections of community grounds and common areas, addressing cleanliness, lighting, painting, and minor repairs.
Assist in routine preventive maintenance across HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and structural systems.
Support the Service Manager with scheduled audits and inspections, ensuring readiness for city, fire, and safety reviews.
Safely operate and maintain tools and equipment including power washers, blowers, scrubbers, and carpet cleaners.
Demonstrate basic skills in carpentry, electrical, plumbing, and appliance repair.
Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations, safety standards, and environmental policies.
Maintain a clean, well‑groomed, and professional appearance and wear the required uniform daily.
Exhibit a proactive and team‑oriented approach while maintaining positive relationships with residents, vendors, and teammates.
Stay current through technical training and hands‑on development opportunities.
Participate in after‑hours emergency maintenance rotation and be available for on‑call needs.
Perform snow removal, pool maintenance, and other landscaping or facilities‑related tasks as needed.
Complete special projects or assignments as directed by the Community Manager or Service Manager.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications and Requirements
Exercises dynamic leadership potential while being in constant and never‑ending improvement and development of yourself.
High School diploma or GED required.
Minimum of one (1) year working in multifamily maintenance experience required.
Strong organizational and communication skills with the ability to listen and understand intents and goals.
Professional judgment and discretion that comes from experience in working with customer services, internal teams and vendors.
CPO certification preferred.
Must provide own tools.
Must have a valid driver’s license and transportation for local travel of business needs.

Physical work may include moving furniture and equipment, shoveling, raking, lifting, climbing, walking, etc. Must be able to adapt to inclement weather.
Ability to sit or stand for long periods at a time.
