Performs hand assembly of post-surface mount circuit boards by following detailed written instructions.
Reads and identifies values, orientation, and polarity of thru-hole components like capacitors, resistors, transistors, and ICs.
Uses assembly drawings and Bill of Materials to verify part numbers and placement.
Ensures correct part values and placement according to IPC-A-610 Class 2 standards.
Uses basic tools and materials such as hot glue, masking, and clipping for final product assembly.
Demonstrates responsibility for work quality, accuracy, and cleanliness, and collaborates well with team members.
Encouraged to notify team leads of quality issues and offer improvement ideas.
Requires a high school diploma or GED; prior assembly experience preferred but training is provided.
Must have manual dexterity, good eyesight, and ability to sit, stand, bend, and stretch for extended periods.
