Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures in production machinery.
Install, calibrate, and commission new industrial equipment and systems.
Conduct routine inspections to identify wear, defects, and potential operational issues.
Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory accurately.
Adhere strictly to safety protocols, including LOTO, during all maintenance procedures.
Collaborate with production personnel to minimize downtime and optimize machine performance.
Recommended Qualifications
Proven experience in maintaining and repairing industrial machinery within a manufacturing environment.
Proficiency in diagnosing and troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Familiarity with PLCs, VFDs, and industrial control systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals.
Strong commitment to safety protocols, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures.
Bonus Qualifications
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming.
Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG, Stick).
Familiarity with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems).
Knowledge of Lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
