We are collaborating with manufacturing firms in Plainwell that are seeking skilled Mechanics. These organizations are dedicated to maintaining high standards and are looking for professionals who can contribute effectively. Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on manufacturing equipment and machinery. Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system malfunctions. Execute repairs, overhauls, and replacements of faulty machine components. Install, calibrate, and commission new production equipment and systems. Read and interpret technical blueprints, schematics, and maintenance manuals. Document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts utilized accurately. Adhere strictly to safety regulations, lockout/tagout procedures, and company policies. Recommended Qualifications
Proficiency in diagnosing, repairing, and performing preventative maintenance on industrial machinery (e.g., hydraulics, pneumatics, power transmission). Strong understanding of mechanical and basic electrical systems, including ability to read schematics and troubleshoot controls. Demonstrated adherence to safety protocols (e.g., LOTO, confined space) and quality standards. Experience with precision measuring tools, power tools, and basic welding/fabrication techniques. Relevant technical certification or associate's degree in Industrial Maintenance, Mechatronics, or a related field. Bonus Qualifications
Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming Robotics maintenance and repair experience Proficiency in welding (MIG, TIG) and basic fabrication Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles or 5S methodologies Job Titles That Should Apply
