Responsibilities
Provide highest level of customer service, technical ability, and quality to customers.
Install, maintain, and repair commercial refrigeration units (reach‑in coolers, freezers, beverage dispensers, walk‑in cooler, rack units).
Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
Travel to job sites in assigned service area; maintain schedule; communicate delays.
Available for nights, weekends on rotating basis for emergency service.
Maintain company vehicle (clean, organize, wash weekly).
Maintain proper stock of parts, tools, safety equipment.
Document services and parts electronically via company devices.
Communicate issues & recommended solutions to clients.
Participate in training; adhere to safety policies.
Identify & report opportunities for additional business.
Follow EPA refrigerant handling regulations.
Other related duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Excellent verbal & written communication and interpersonal skills.
In‑depth knowledge of refrigeration, electrical, and mechanical systems.
Proficient reading schematics, work plans, diagnostic tools, refrigerant recovery, specialized instruments.
Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
Advanced understanding of AC, heating, refrigeration principles.
Able to work independently and as part of a team.
Highly dependable; consistent quality work.
Enthusiastic with strong integrity, craftsmanship, positive attitude.
Basic computer skills for communication/documentation (iPads, cell phones).
Willingness to work overtime, weekends, holidays as required.
Ability to travel to client sites.
Commitment to high levels of customer service.
Specific Industry Certification/License.
EPA Certification.
High school diploma or equivalent.
2+ years of recent refrigeration technician field experience.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
Physical capability: vision, hearing, twisting, talking; standing, sitting, walking, lifting, carrying, reaching, kneeling, pushing/pulling, bending, crouching.
Operate iPad, cell phone, computer.
Stand for extended periods.
Travel as needed daily.
Lift up to 100 lbs.
Climbing may be required.
Occasional office environment work.
