Position Overview Job Type:

Hourly
A Technician C at AAA Car Care will perform routine scheduled maintenance on automobiles and trucks under the direction of a Manager or Service Advisor, ensuring quality repairs and excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Perform automotive repairs, adjustments and maintenance as outlined on repair orders.
Complete fluid exchanges, alignments, brake services, advanced repair and maintenance services.
Drive vehicles into the service bay, prepare them for and complete digital vehicle inspections.
Test drive vehicles and prepare them for delivery to customers after necessary repairs and maintenance.
Keep the shop clean and organized to ensure a positive member/customer experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Pay rate starting at $42,000 annual (rate fluctuates based on productivity and annual bonus eligibility).
Hourly base pay with eligibility for annual incentive, certification bonus, and flat-rate production pay.

Required Qualifications
High School diploma, GED or technical school graduate; certification preferred.
Valid driver’s license.
Minimum of 6 months relevant experience in automotive repair or completion of a formal automotive training program.
Knowledge of automotive and/or truck systems, tools and technical resources to independently perform a variety of basic repairs and maintenance.
Demonstrated proper use of equipment and tools, maintaining a clean, safe and organized work area.
Exceptional customer service skills and a commitment to improving customer service scores.
Preferred Qualifications
ASE Certifications (e.g., A4-Suspension & Steering, A5-Brakes).
G1-Auto Maintenance & Light Repair.
State inspection certificate where applicable.
AC 609 Certification.
Work Environment
May experience loud noises and intermittent odors in the shop.
Position requires standing, walking, reaching, grabbing, lifting and carrying automotive parts and equipment (up to approximately 80 pounds).
Must have own tools appropriate for skill level and use them in the center.
Must work in heat, as some locations do not have air conditioning.
Must maintain a standing work posture for the entire shift in a concrete facility.
