Tomlin Tile is seeking a Tile Setter, no experience necessary, to join our team on a full-time basis. We specialize in providing top-notch services to our clients and we are looking for a dedicated and reliable individual to help us continue to deliver exceptional results.
Responsibilities:
Install and repair various types of tile, including ceramic, porcelain, marble, and granite
Measure and cut tiles to fit specific areas, ensuring precision and accuracy
Prepare surfaces for tiling by cleaning, leveling, and filling in cracks or holes
Mix and apply grout, sealant, and other adhesives as needed
Inspect and troubleshoot any issues with tile installation, making necessary adjustments or repairs
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area
Communicate with clients to understand their specific needs and preferences
Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor at all times
Qualifications:
Reliable transportation
Proficient in using a measuring tape
Knowledge of different types of adhesives, grout, and sealants is a plus
18 years of age, or older
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Strong communication and customer service skills
Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift heavy materials for extended periods of time
The ability to pass a background check
