PIPE WELDER for SHOP [GTAW / SMAW]

Location: Monroe, NC.
We are growing and looking for experienced welders (TIG & stick, not sheet metal) ready to work with and weld various metal components as specified by documentation. The role requires certification on GTAW and SMAW processes per company-approved procedure specifications.
Responsibilities
Weld together metal components of various types using arc welding equipment.
Certify on welding processes GTAW and SMAW using company-approved welding procedure specifications (WPS).
Perform work activities with minimum supervision.
Set up and operate various types of arc-welding and cutting equipment.
Plan work and select proper tools.
Qualifications
Take and pass a company welding test (2" schedule 80 carbon steel 6G pipe).
Have 3 or more years of job experience as a TIG/stick welder on 6G process piping.
Valid driver's license.
Work within precise limits or standards of accuracy.
Make decisions based on measurable criteria.
Ability to perform work activities with minimum supervision.
