Job Description LHH Recruitment Solutions is partnering with a nationally recognized plaintiffs‑side law firm to find an experienced Litigation Paralegal to join its Complex Litigation team in Portland. This role supports attorneys preparing for upcoming trials in a large, ongoing matter and requires strong research, writing, discovery, and case‑based project management skills. The ideal candidate is proactive, team‑oriented, and comfortable handling complex matters and challenging conversations in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Assist with case‑based research, writing, cite‑checking, and data entry
Work directly with clients to draft complaints and collect relevant documents
Code, review, and produce documents using Relativity
Track and manage discovery deadlines
Support trial preparation and provide on‑site trial assistance as needed
Collaborate closely with attorneys, paralegals, and staff throughout all phases of litigation
Qualifications
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience supporting complex matters, including research, writing, drafting complaints, discovery, and trial preparation
Experience with document collection, review, and e‑discovery, with Relativity proficiency preferred
Strong technical skills, including PowerPoint and Excel, with the ability to perform analytical and factual review
Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with attorneys, colleagues, and a diverse client base
Highly organized and detail‑oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and competing deadlines
Professional discretion and sound judgment when handling confidential information
Self‑starter with a strong work ethic, strong problem‑solving skills, and the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Oregon and Washington state court experience preferred
