LHH is partnering with a respected law firm in Tampa seeking an experienced Construction Litigation Paralegal to join their dynamic legal team. This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled paralegal with strong litigation experience—particularly in construction law—to work with a collaborative group of attorneys in a hybrid work environment.
Responsibilities
Support attorneys in all phases of construction litigation, including case management, discovery, and trial preparation.
Draft, review, and organize pleadings, discovery requests/responses, subpoenas, and other legal documents.
Manage case files and maintain electronic databases and document management systems.
Conduct legal research and summarize findings for attorney review.
Coordinate with clients, experts, witnesses, and vendors.
Assist in preparation of exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
Qualifications
3+ years of litigation paralegal experience , preferably with a focus on
construction law .
Strong knowledge of state and federal court rules and e-filing procedures.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and legal document management software.
Excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Paralegal certification or degree preferred.
