Job Description: The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients as part of their health routine or for life-defining health decisions. The role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while following established practices and procedures. This position involves direct patient contact and requires creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a safe, accurate, and skillful manner. The role demonstrates leadership behaviors with a focus on process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Responsibilities: Perform daily activities accurately and on time. Maintain a safe and professional environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing following established procedures. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Requirement/Must Have: Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills including pediatric and geriatric. Flexible availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Keyboard and data entry experience. Experience: Minimum of six months of phlebotomy experience required. One year or more of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Qualification And Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred. Phlebotomy certification preferred.
