We are excited to offer a wonderful opportunity for an experienced Neonatal Nurse Practitioner or a NICU-trained Physician Assistant to become a part of our expanding team at a reputable medical facility located in Brooksville, a vibrant suburb north of Tampa along Florida's stunning Nature Coast. This facility features a 20-bed Level-III unit with on-site support from Neonatologists and maternal-fetal medicine specialists, ensuring a collaborative and supportive practice environment.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide high-quality neonatal care in a 20-bed Level-III NICU with an average daily census of 12-20 infants.
- Work closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Neonatologists, to deliver comprehensive care.
- Assume responsibility for patient evaluations, management, and follow-up.
- Participate in unit operations, including the possibility of 16-hour shifts and potential 24-hour shifts as the unit grows.
- Adhere to facility protocols and maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices in neonatal care.
- Minimum of a Master s Degree in a relevant field.
- For NNP Candidates: Board Certified APRN national specialty certification NNP; at least 2+ years of current NNP work experience in NICU.
- For PA Candidates: Board Certified through NCCPA and completion of a Neonatal PA training program is highly preferred; at least 2+ years of current PA work experience in NICU.
- Clean malpractice and licensing history.
- Active Florida license (or willing to obtain).
- DEA registration must be obtained prior to start.
- For NNP Candidates: Current national specialty certification NNP is required.
- For PA Candidates: Board Certification through NCCPA is required.
