HR Coordinator Opportunity In Spokane, Washington

We are looking for an experienced and dynamic HR Coordinator to join our team on a contract basis in Spokane, Washington. In this role, you will play a pivotal part in supporting key HR functions, including onboarding, employee orientations, and system management. This position requires a highly organized individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently, while ensuring accuracy and professionalism.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct engaging and informative HR orientations twice weekly for new hourly retail employees.
  • Facilitate onboarding processes, including entering employee data into HRIS and payroll systems.
  • Maintain and update employee records in HRIS databases with precision and confidentiality.
  • Manage leave administration processes, ensuring compliance with company policies and regulations.
  • Collaborate with payroll and scheduling systems to ensure accurate employee data entry and updates.
  • Provide clear and effective communication to new hires regarding company policies and procedures.
  • Adapt quickly to shifting tasks and priorities while maintaining attention to detail.
  • Deliver presentations and training sessions confidently to diverse audiences.
  • Support additional HR functions as required during the contract period.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in HR coordination or related roles.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively.
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems; experience with SuccessFactors or Ceridian/Dayforce is advantageous.
  • Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.
  • Familiarity with leave administration processes.
  • Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate effectively with employees and team members.
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.
