The Integrated Warfare Systems Group (IWSG) has more than 100 staff providing program management, systems engineering, software, cybersecurity, and support for Navy and defense projects, including collaborations with NSWCDD, ONR, MDA, and the Navys Team Submarine Office. Responsibilities

SPA's IWSG is seeking a dedicated Senior Infrastructure Engineer to support the Space Systems Development Department (SSDD) at the Naval Center for Space Technology (NCST), part of the U.S. Naval Research Laboratory (NRL) in Washington, DC. This role involves advanced R&D for space and ground support systems, focusing on C4ISR systems to support Naval Missions. The position is full-time onsite at NRL in Washington, DC, with hiring expected in late 2025. We offer a competitive total compensation package, including base pay, variable incentives, and benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off, tailored based on eligibility and location. The salary range for Washington, DC is approximately $140,000-$180,000, depending on experience and qualifications. Qualifications

Required BSc in Mathematics, Engineering, or Computer Science DoD Top Secret security clearance with SCI eligibility At least 10 years of relevant experience Minimum 8 years of experience in domain, server, telecommunications, remote access, and mail server setup and configuration Desired Experience designing and supporting enterprise information systems, ensuring security and integration with current applications Ability to develop security documentation, network diagrams, and manage infrastructure components from design to operation Proficiency in troubleshooting complex infrastructure issues and supporting hardware/software vendors Experience with Virtual Machine management, high availability systems, and supporting Multi-INT development for government clients
