Commonwealth Anesthesia Associates (CAA) , a private practice anesthesiology group at
Newton-Wellesley Hospita l, is seeking a board-certified or board-eligible anesthesiologist to join our collegial and highly regarded team at Newton-Wellesley Hospital, a Mass General Brigham affiliate located just outside of Boston. This is an excellent opportunity to practice in a well-supported, collaborative, and academically connected environment offering a diverse mix of surgical specialties, strong CRNA partnerships, and an exceptional quality of life. As a member of CAA, you’ll join a group of dedicated clinicians who value teamwork, excellence in patient care, and professional satisfaction. This role includes participation in the call schedule and a wide variety of clinical cases with an emphasis on high-quality, efficient, and compassionate care. Medical Degree (MD or DO)
from an accredited institution Completion of an ACGME-accredited Anesthesiology Residency Program Board Certified or Board Eligible
by the American Board of Anesthesiology (ABA) Current or eligible Massachusetts medical license , along with DEA and Massachusetts Controlled Substance Registration Strong clinical proficiency across a broad range of cases including general, orthopedic, gynecologic, urologic, ENT, and obstetric anesthesia Ability and willingness to
sit your own cases 70–80% of the time
while also supervising CRNAs in a collaborative care model Dedication to
safe, efficient, and compassionate patient care
in alignment with Newton-Wellesley Hospital and CAA standards Excellent
communication and teamwork skills , with a respectful, collegial approach to surgeons, nurses, and anesthesia colleagues Commitment to
shared responsibility and fair call participation
within a balanced, supportive schedule Desire to contribute to a
stable, high-performing private practice culture
