Position Overview: The Head of Program and Project Management for Digital Services Business Operations leads the centralized PMO for all SPINCO projects, ensuring seamless project execution, cross‑organizational alignment, and best‑in‑class program and project management practices. This leader oversees a high‑performing team of program managers, project managers, and business analysts, drives operational excellence, and partners across the organization to deliver strategic initiatives efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities and Impact: The Head of Program and Project Management for Digital Services Business Operations leads the centralized PMO for all SPINCO projects, ensuring seamless project execution, cross‑organizational alignment, and best‑in‑class program and project management practices.
Key Responsibilities:
PMO Leadership:
Lead the PMO for all S&P Global Mobility projects and project managers, implementing a “hub and spoke” model to ensure consistent project governance and reporting across the organization.
Project Execution Oversight:
Responsible for the successful execution of all projects within S&P Global Mobility, ensuring on‑time delivery, quality, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Dependency Management:
Manage project dependencies between S&P Global Mobility and its subsidiaries, proactively identifying and mitigating risks to ensure seamless execution.
Process & Standards Development:
Establish, implement, and continuously improve program and project management processes, standards, and methodologies in line with industry best practices.
Status Reporting:
Oversee the creation and distribution of clear, timely, and actionable project status reports for stakeholders at all levels.
Project Communications:
Develop and manage robust communication plans to ensure transparency and alignment across project teams and stakeholders.
Project Review & Quality Assurance:
Lead regular project reviews, ensuring adherence to standards, quality expectations, and continuous improvement.
SOX/Audit Compliance:
Ensure all project management activities comply with SOX and audit requirements, maintaining rigorous documentation and controls.
Best Practice Alignment:
Collaborate with PMOs in subsidiaries to share knowledge, align on best practices, and drive consistency in project management approaches.
Leadership & Team Development:
Build and mentor a high‑performing team of program and project management professionals, fostering a culture of operational excellence, innovation, and continuous learning.
Qualifications:
Leadership Experience:
10+ years of progressive experience in program and project management, with a track record of managing multiple, complex projects within a global, technology‑driven organization.
PMO Management:
Demonstrated ability to lead and optimize PMO teams or centralized project management functions.
Project Execution:
Experience overseeing project delivery, managing dependencies, and coordinating efforts across multiple business units or subsidiaries.
Process & Standards Implementation:
Solid understanding of program and project management methodologies (e.g., PMI, Agile, Prince2) and the ability to implement and improve processes and standards.
Reporting & Communication:
Proficiency in status reporting, executive communications, and stakeholder engagement.
Compliance Knowledge:
Familiarity with SOX/audit requirements and experience integrating compliance into project management practices.
Collaboration Skills:
Strong ability to work cross‑functionally and liaise with internal and external partners to align on best practices.
Analytical & Leadership Skills:
Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and leadership skills, with a demonstrated ability to mentor and develop project management talent.
Education & Certifications:
Project/program management certifications (PMP, PgMP, PRINCE2, Agile, etc.) preferred.
