The Role: Business Analytics Lead
S&P Global has recently announced the intent to separate our Mobility Segment into a standalone public company.
Position Overview The Business Operations team is dedicated to achieving operational excellence by streamlining processes and driving best‑in‑class performance across the organization. Responsibilities and Impact: The Business Analytics Lead is accountable for delivering comprehensive reporting and analysis on the performance of the Digital Services organization, with a focus on ensuring the organization consistently meets corporate objectives. This role is responsible for providing accurate, timely, and actionable insights that directly inform strategic decision‑making and drive organizational accountability. In addition to performance reporting, the position supports enterprise‑level process and analytics initiatives, contributing to process definition, improvement, and requirements gathering to enhance operational effectiveness across the organization.
Performance Reporting Leadership:
Design, develop, and deliver reporting on key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics for the Digital Services organization.
Stakeholder Partnership:
Collaborate with Digital Services leadership and other stakeholders to understand performance reporting needs and deliver clear, actionable insights.
Dashboard & Report Management:
Create and maintain dashboards and reports that accurately reflect the performance of the Digital Services organization.
Data Integrity & Compliance:
Ensure the accuracy, quality, and compliance of all performance data and reporting in alignment with company standards.
Enterprise Process Support:
Provide analytics expertise and support for enterprise‑level process tasks, including process definition, improvement, and requirements gathering.
Process Optimization:
Use analytics to identify opportunities for process improvements within Digital Services and across the enterprise.
Requirements Gathering:
Partner with cross‑functional teams to define business requirements for new reporting and analytics solutions.
Best Practices & Standards:
Develop and maintain reporting best practices, templates, and documentation standards for performance analytics.
Continuous Improvement:
Promote a culture of continuous learning and improvement in reporting and analytics practices.
Training & Enablement:
Support the business operations teams in understanding and utilizing performance reports and analytics tools.
Compensation / Benefits Information (US candidates) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $110,000 to $140,000. Final base salary for this role will be based on the individual’s geographic location, as well as experience level, skill set, training, licenses and certifications. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for an annual incentive plan.

Qualifications Basic Required Qualifications:
Professional Experience:
8+ years of experience in business analytics, reporting, or operations, ideally within a digital services environment.
Performance Reporting Expertise:
Strong background in designing and managing performance reporting for business operations.
Enterprise Process Analytics:
Proven ability to support process definition, improvement, and requirements gathering at the enterprise level.
Data & Analytics Tools:
Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft SQL Server, Excel), with a focus on data integrity and visualization.
Stakeholder Management:
Experience working with senior leaders and cross‑functional teams to deliver reporting solutions that drive business value.
Process Improvement:
Demonstrated success in using data and analytics to identify and implement process improvements.
Compliance & Data Governance:
Understanding of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements for reporting functions.
Education & Certifications:
Bachelor’s or master’s degree in business analytics, information systems, or a related field; relevant analytics certifications preferred.
Entrepreneurial Mindset:
Ability to drive innovation, embrace change, and proactively identify opportunities for reporting and process improvement.
Communication Skills:
Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to translate performance data into clear, actionable insights.
