The facility is a prominent Cancer Center dedicated to providing top-notch care for thoracic (lung) cancer patients. Job Responsibilities:- Participate in Tumor Board discussions.
- Order tests and images for patient assessment.
- Prescribe treatment plans tailored to patient needs.
- Perform Required Procedures, including FNA/Biopsy.
- Manage care for an average of 8-16 outpatient consultations per day.
- Provide rounding support at two hospitals with an average census of 22 patients.
- Engage in community outreach and education regarding cancer treatment.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible in Medical Oncology - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan Medical License - HIGHLY PREFERRED
- Current BLS certification - REQUIRED
- Willingness to focus on thoracic (lung) cancer patients - REQUIRED
- NPDB report, pulled within the last month or within 90 days - REQUIRED
- Active Michigan Medical License (or willingness to obtain).
- Board Certification in Medical Oncology.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
