Position Overview
The Landscape Architecture Program is accepting applications for Part‑Time Instructors. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach landscape architecture courses delivered by the Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Design. The maximum teaching load varies from 1–2 courses per semester.
Responsibilities
Teach face‑to‑face landscape architecture courses.
Participate in data collection and assessment of student learning.
Submit teaching materials as part of semester review.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements: Candidates must have a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture or a closely related discipline with at least one professional degree in landscape architecture at the time of application.
Preferred: Candidates with 1–3 years teaching experience at the University or Community College level are preferred.
Remote/Hybrid Eligibility This position may be eligible for a remote or hybrid work arrangement, consistent with university and state policies. N.C. A&T employees are generally required to reside in North Carolina, within a 2‑hour commuting distance of their assigned duty station.
