Position Overview
The Department of Biology invites applications for Part‑Time Instructors for fall 2025, summer 2025, or spring 2026. Part‑Time Instructors are hired on a semester‑by‑semester basis to teach courses delivered by the Department of Biology. This is a temporary position.
Responsibilities Teach introductory and advanced level courses delivered by the Department of Biology. Duties include teaching face‑to‑face and/or online, attending training and/or review sessions, academic advising, supporting student organizations, and participating in program development and assessment. The candidate is expected to work cooperatively with faculty and staff in the department and university.
Minimum Requirements Candidates must have an MS or a PhD in Biology or a related field at the time of application.
Preferred Qualifications Candidates with teaching experience at the University or Community College level are preferred.
