Part‑Time Cook – Every Other Weekend

Do you love cooking up delicious meals that make people smile? The Shores of Lake Phalen is looking for a
Part‑Time Cook
to join our friendly team! In this role, you’ll help create warm, home‑style meals that bring joy and comfort to our residents
every other weekend .
Pay Range:
$17.53 – $21.21 per hour (based on experience and qualifications)

What You’ll Do Prepare tasty, well‑presented meals that brighten our residents’ day.
Follow safe food‑handling and sanitation practices (because safety matters!).
Assist with serving meals and clearing tables.
Keep the kitchen sparkling clean, including utensils, dishes, and work areas.
Report concerns, suggestions, or menu ideas to the team.
Follow infection control and fire safety procedures to ensure a safe dining environment.
Who We Want Dependable, upbeat, and ready to bring both skill and heart to our kitchen.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred (must be at least 16).
Must be 18+ to use power‑driven kitchen equipment.
Prior cooking experience in healthcare, hospitality, or culinary arts preferred.
ServSafe, CPR, or First Aid certifications a plus.
A team player with a friendly, outgoing attitude and passion for good food!
