Maintenance Technician (Troubleshooting Expert with Electrical Knowledge) Payrate

$29.37 to $31.44 Hours

5:00am to 3:30pm Monday - Thursday w/mandatory OT on Friday and Saturday based on a business need Job Summary

Highly skilled Maintenance Technician with advanced troubleshooting abilities and strong electrical knowledge. This role is responsible for maintaining, diagnosing, and repairing mechanical and electrical systems across a wide range of industrial equipment and facilities to ensure optimal performance and minimal downtime. Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred Minimum 8-10 years of hands‑on experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or equivalent. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming is required. Key Responsibilities

Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment. Troubleshoot and repair mechanical systems including motors, pumps, conveyors, gearboxes, hydraulics, and pneumatics. Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including 480V/3‑phase power, motors, control panels, relays, sensors, PLCs, VFDs, and wiring. Use diagnostic tools (multimeters, amp meters, IR thermometers, etc.) to isolate and resolve faults. Read and interpret technical schematics, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and equipment manuals. Perform equipment installations, alignments, and system upgrades. Ensure all work complies with electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve equipment performance and reliability. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities in CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System). Respond quickly to emergency breakdowns and conduct thorough root cause analysis

to prevent recurrence. Perform additional tasks or responsibilities as assigned by management. Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; technical certification or associate degree in a related field preferred. Minimum 8-10 years of hands‐on experience as an industrial maintenance mechanic or equivalent. Strong working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems

in an industrial or manufacturing environment. Experience with PLC troubleshooting and basic programming is required. Experience with lockout/tagout (LOTO), OSHA safety protocols, and NFPA 70E. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast‑paced environment. Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail. Willingness to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, or on‑call as required. Physical Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Stand, walk, bend, kneel, climb ladders, and work in confined spaces for extended periods. Work in environments with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and varying temperatures. EEO/AA/M/F/Vet/Disability Employer
