The Team: S&P Dow Jones Indices (S&P DJI) is seeking an Analyst to join the Global Exchanges Index Product Management team. The team is a core pillar of the Equity Icons product group at S&P DJI and is responsible for providing client solutions, insights and thought leadership, as well as driving the product strategy and financial health of the product line. The Global Exchanges Index Product Management team oversees a diverse set of index products, with a focus on local market leaders within our exchange partnerships (S&P/TSX, S&P/ASX, S&P/BMV, S&P/BYMA, S&P/B3, etc.). The team is also responsible for DeFi – Tokenization and Digital Asset (Cryptocurrency) Indices which will be the primary focus area of the role.

As asset class experts, the Product Management team sets strategic priorities to drive revenue growth. This team is integral to developing some of the most innovative segments at S&P DJI with DeFi becoming an increasing focus of market participants.

Key Responsibilities

Execute product development strategy, focusing on investing trends in digital assets globally.

Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support new product initiatives and strategic sales efforts.

Support Cryptocurrency Indices through analysis and content creation for thought leadership materials (blogs, white papers, videos).

Collaborate with the Research and Design team on index design.

Plan and coordinate competing priorities and resources required to deliver on team objectives and key results using an AGILE framework.

Provide insights which inform the product roadmap based on market intelligence and client feedback.

Identify growth opportunities and contribute towards developing a robust pipeline for expansion of existing indices and index launches.

Collaborate across Product Management team members and wider internal stakeholders such as Sales, Marketing, Index Investment Strategy (IIS) to support both product and global initiatives.

Take direction from senior product management leadership and collaborate closely on projects with other product managers within the Global Exchanges team.

The role will allow the Analyst to have impactful exposure to multiple groups within S&P DJI (Index Governance, Index Management & Production, Marketing and Communications, Research & Design, Client Coverage, and others). What we’re looking for

Undergraduate degree required.

1-3 years of relevant work experience.

Master’s degree in a relevant field or progress towards a CFA Charter holder status is a plus but not a requirement.

Familiarity with DeFi, digital assets, blockchain topics and industry best practices is highly desirable.

Self‑driven with strong research and innovation skills.

Strong multi‑tasking capabilities is a must for this dynamic role that touches on every aspect of the index life‑cycle.

Strong analytical and quantitative skills are essential, comfortable working with large datasets.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills; candidate will eventually deliver high quality presentations both internally and externally to clients.

The position requires interacting with sophisticated clients and the candidate should demonstrate ability to ask questions and advise toward client solutions.

Programming skills (Python, R, SQL, VBA, others) are desirable but not essential.

Knowledge of financial packages such as FactSet, Capital IQ, Morningstar, Eikon, etc. is desirable.

Knowledge of the cryptocurrency market is desirable.

Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team to effectively influence others and gain consensus.

Compensation/Benefits (US Applicants Only) S&P Global states that the anticipated base salary range for this position is $90,000 to $110,000. Base salary ranges may vary by geographic location. In addition to base compensation, this role is eligible for additional compensation such as an annual incentive bonus.

This role is eligible to receive additional S&P Global benefits.
