trak group is hiring an HR Generalist to play a hands‑on role supporting a 24/7 manufacturing operation. This position offers true ownership across recruiting, payroll, benefits, compliance, and employee relations—making it ideal for an HR professional who enjoys variety, autonomy, and being deeply embedded in the business. You’ll work closely with leaders and employees alike, helping shape processes, support growth, and create a consistent, people‑first HR experience from hire to retire.
Responsibilities:
Manage full‑cycle recruitment for non‑exempt roles and support exempt hiring
Partner with hiring managers on role definition, candidate evaluation, and offers
Lead new hire orientation and coordinate onboarding and training activities
Process accurate bi‑weekly payroll and manage employee changes
Administer benefits programs including enrollments, open enrollment, and vendor coordination
Serve as the first point of contact for employee benefits questions
Coordinate with third‑party administrators and brokers for benefits, COBRA, HSA/HRA, and related programs
Ensure compliance with ADA, FMLA, workers’ compensation, and leave programs
Manage employment documentation including garnishments, unemployment notices, EEO‑1, ACA, and 5500 reporting
Track HR metrics such as time‑to‑hire and turnover; maintain monthly HR reporting
Support employee relations and disciplinary processes with proper documentation
Respond to employee and stakeholder inquiries within established timelines
Identify and implement HR process or policy improvements
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience using
ADP Workforce Now
(Payroll, Time, and ATS modules)
Payroll processing experience required
Strong understanding of HR compliance and employment regulations
Manufacturing experience strongly preferred
Ability to support a 24/7 operation with flexibility for onboarding and HR events
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Strong organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills
High level of discretion and professionalism
SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP a plus
