Volunteer Car Driver – Patient Transport Service We have a fantastic opportunity for a Volunteer Car Driver to join our team based in Mansfield. Join us as a Patient Transport Volunteer Driver and become a vital part of our Patient Transport Service in your local area. Your commitment will ensure that vulnerable patients can access essential medical appointments on time with ease and comfort.

Responsibilities

Drive patients to non‑emergency appointments.

Coordinate with our dispatch teams for seamless operations.

Foster positive relationships within the community.

Enjoy the autonomy of volunteering independently while knowing you have the backing of a supportive team.

Qualifications & Requirements

A valid driving licence with no more than 6 penalty points.

A friendly and empathetic demeanour.

Access to a 4‑door (minimum) car.

Alignment with our organisation's values.

Basic IT skills (e.g., use of smartphone).

Subject to regulatory pre‑employment checks (Disclosures, Barring Service, HMRC records).
