Paralegal – Litigation
Recruiting Location: US–TX–Dallas
Department: Paralegal & Project Assistant
Summary The Litigation Paralegal will manage all aspects of large-scale, complex litigation. The position will require overtime and may involve some travel.
Duties and Responsibilities
Managing all phases of large-scale, complex litigation cases, arbitrations and investigations, including motion practice, discovery, trial, and appellate phases
Managing and manipulating electronic and hard copy documents and files using firm document management and litigation support systems
Producing electronic and hard copy documents
Gathering and assembling documents for witness preparation and depositions
Preparing for and attending court trials and/or arbitrations and handling all duties associated with a trial such as: preparing witness binders, preparing and tracking exhibits, coordinating with trial consultants/vendors, scheduling court reporters, etc.
Cite‑checking and Blue‑booking motions and briefs
Preparing privilege logs
Filing documents electronically with the courts through ECF and Texas‑approved e‑filing vendor
Proficient in Westlaw/Lexis, PACER and Relativity
Trains and mentors entry‑level project assistants, as applicable
Performs other projects and tasks as requested by attorneys and Manager
Performs other work‑related duties, as may be assigned

Education and/or Experience Required:
Minimum five years of litigation paralegal experience at a medium or large law firm
Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office and Excel applications and litigation support technology, including use and familiarity of Relativity and Case Notebook
Trial management and attendance with medium to large scale trials and evidentiary hearings as lead paralegal
Preferred:
Paralegal Certificate from an ABA accredited program
