This will be the first time filling a full‑time role specifically focused on students of middle and high school students at Lebanon Baptist Church. It is a great opportunity for someone to come in with a fresh approach to ministry and begin building upon a solid foundation. Engaging students with the Word of God is at the core of their desires, and they are excited to see how this person will help parents shape the spiritual growth and development of students. The Senior Pastor at Lebanon has been leading this church for over 25 years and is eager to see someone develop a strategy for discipling students from conversion to reproducing disciple‑makers. This role will also include general church administrative tasks on a weekly basis.
Key Responsibilities
Administer and coordinate the student ministry with a focus on biblical education and developing a biblical worldview.
Promote, plan, and direct Sunday morning and Wednesday evening Bible studies.
Develop and promote outreach with the goal of engaging students to become proactive in evangelism to reach their friends and family for Christ.
Develop a student ministry communication and promotion strategy.
Along with other staff, perform general office work, including record keeping, creation of various reports as requested, preparing and printing weekly church bulletin, and managing church calendar of events.
Preferred: Some ministry experience, administrative experience.

Lead Adult Groups Pastor (Madison Campus) The primary responsibility of the Lead Adult Groups Pastor is to provide spiritual, visionary, team‑based, value‑driven leadership to mobilize the people of Pinelake Church into Biblical community in a manner consistent with the purpose, vision, and core values as expressed in the Strategic Ministry Plan.
General Responsibilities
Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
Assists the Campus Pastor to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
Basic personal responsibilities:
Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.
Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
Maintain active participation in community.
Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).
Value the 7 H's of our staff culture in your heart, home, and life (Humility, Honor, Honesty, Hunger, Holy Spirit, Health and Harmony).
Specific List of Duties and Responsibilities
Provide leadership and oversight over our groups team by leading our Associate Groups Minister and Department Administrative Assistant.
Pursue small group leadership contacts weekly for the purposes of shepherding, vision casting, and organizational health.
Lead the small group leadership culture by developing and leading a team of directors, coaches, and small group leaders.
Recruit potential and new small group leadership for multiplication of groups.
Strategically pursue couples and individuals for group connection.
Servant leaders developed and deployed for ministry ownership.
Address church needs through variety of new equipping groups.
Develop and deploy servant leader teaching team for equipping groups.
Train leaders to lead their groups and disciple individuals within their groups.
In conjunction with the Adult Groups team, help execute groups events including but not limited to: Group Launch, Leader Huddles, Men's and Women's Specific opportunities and Equip Classes.
Prepares and manages the budget for the Adult Groups ministry within the parameters established by the Executive Team and under the oversight of the Campus Pastor.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education and/or Experience Bachelor's degree minimum; and four to six years of related experience and/or training.
Student Ministries Pastor Gordon Heights Baptist Church located in Cairo, GA is seeking a Full Time Student Ministries Pastor to join our ministry team. We are committed to being an evangelistic church that reaches all neighbors, all nations, and all generations with the gospel.
As the Student Ministries Pastor, you will oversee the individual spiritual growth of the students within the student ministries at Gordon Heights. This starts from before they begin a relationship with Jesus at birth, through their continual maturity as they graduate high school. The Student Ministries Pastor role includes leading our Youth, and Children’s Ministries. The Student Ministries Pastor must be relatable to the students with an emphasis on guiding, teaching, and growing the student’s love for Christ and others while living a life of grace and modeling responsibility and accountability while focusing on building relationships with them and their parents.
You would be directly responsible for leading students in 6th – 12th grade in weekly Bible studies, taking students to a summer camp, leading students in local mission opportunities, and other activities/events that serve as a bridge to reach students in the community with the gospel and connect them to the church. You would be responsible for leading and giving oversight and direction to our children’s ministry. You would lead an already established team of Children’s Ministry Volunteers and give guidance where needed.
The Student Ministries Pastor role will work with all parents to help them disciple their students and attempt to minister to unchurched/unbelieving parents. The Student Ministries Pastor will work with volunteers in the student ministries to ensure a safe, healthy, and fun environment.
You must model strong and relational Christian leadership to the youth. You must also have a passion for Jesus, excellent communication skills, and desire to help students know and follow Jesus. This role will work closely with the Senior Pastor in many ministry areas. You also must be able to fill the pulpit in the absence of the pastor.
Our church is Southern Baptist in values and doctrine. We adhere to the Baptist Faith and Message 2000. We run 100+ in worship attendance and presently have a good core group of active youth and children. We are seeking a called energetic individual with a passion and calling for ministry in this area who desires to grow.
