As the Business Development Manager at Content Recovery Specialists (CRS), you will play a vital role in driving both the growth and efficiency of our business. This position combines elements of business development, marketing strategy, and operational oversight to ensure our continued success in the contents restoration industry. You’ll be responsible for securing new clients, managing relationships within the restoration and insurance sectors, and overseeing key operational functions to enhance productivity, client satisfaction, and overall performance. The ideal candidate is organized, results-driven, and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. Base compensation plus sales incentive.
Key Responsibilities Business Development & Sales
Identify and pursue potential clients within the local market, including restoration contractors, insurance adjusters, property managers, and related professionals.
Present CRS services to prospective clients, highlighting our expertise in contents restoration and packouts.
Build and maintain strong relationships with industry partners through consistent outreach, follow-ups, and high-level client service.
Attend local networking events, trade shows, BNI and chamber meetings, and other relevant industry gatherings to build brand awareness and foster relationships.
Utilize CRM tools to manage client communication, lead tracking, and follow-up processes.
Marketing & Brand Awareness
Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement marketing initiatives that drive brand visibility and local engagement.
Represent CRS at community and industry events, promoting our services and company values.
Provide feedback and insights on local market conditions, competition, and emerging opportunities.
Support the creation of sales materials, social content, and promotional campaigns to enhance outreach efforts.
Operations Management
Assist in overseeing day-to-day operational functions to ensure projects run efficiently and meet company standards.
Monitor on-site projects and field operations to ensure timely completion and quality control.
Manage supply chain and inventory quality control, identifying and resolving any logistical or resource challenges.
Develop and implement tools or processes to automate repetitive tasks and improve workflow efficiency.
Support employee engagement and professional development initiatives to strengthen team performance.
Assist in job tracking, estimates, and other technical processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Operations Management, or related field (preferred but not required).
3–5 years of experience in sales, marketing, business development, or operations management—preferably within the restoration, construction, or insurance industries.
Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Demonstrated ability to balance strategic growth initiatives with operational execution.
Highly organized, self-motivated, and capable of working independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
Valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, and ability to travel locally as needed.
Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening per partner carrier requirements.
