Brief Description The Inventory (Operations) Associate supports Vivacity’s day-to-day operations by managing device inventory throughout the pre-deployment and fulfillment lifecycle. This role is responsible for receiving, tracking, staging, and preparing equipment for repair, production, and shipment. The Inventory Associate plays a key role in ensuring accurate inventory records, organized storage, and timely movement of devices across teams.
Essential Functions
Receive, count, and verify incoming devices, parts, and equipment against purchase orders and shipping documentation
Accurately log, track, and update inventory in designated systems and spreadsheets
Label, tag, and stage devices for repair, production, deployment, or storage
Maintain organized inventory locations, including shelving, bins, cages, and staging areas
Perform routine cycle counts and assist with physical inventory audits
Identify and report inventory discrepancies, damaged items, or shortages to the designated lead
Support order fulfillment by pulling, packing, and staging devices and accessories
Coordinate inventory movement between repairs, production, warehouse, and shipping teams
Ensure outgoing inventory meets accuracy and quality standards prior to shipment
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
Cross-train across inventory, warehouse, production, and operations functions as business needs evolve
Uphold all safety standards and operational procedures
Provide inventory updates, metrics, and status reports to the designated lead
Perform other duties as assigned
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Working knowledge of inventory management, warehouse operations, or logistics, or the ability to learn quickly
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and organization
Ability to track multiple inventory movements and prioritize tasks effectively
Strong time-management skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Clear verbal and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
Comfortable using Google Workspace or similar tools; ability to learn systems quickly
Basic technical aptitude with devices and accessories preferred
Customer-service mindset with accountability for accuracy and reliability

Education & Experience
High school diploma or equivalent required
Prior experience in inventory, warehouse, logistics, or operations preferred
Experience with inventory systems, asset tracking, or device handling a plus
Additional Requirements
Ability to stand, walk, or move for prolonged periods
Ability to operate job-related equipment (e.g., scanners, pallet jacks, carts)
Ability to bend, squat, and lift up to 50 lbs
Pay & Benefits
$21.00 per hour
