Description Our Lamar office in Bryan, Texas is hiring an entry‑level Operations crew member to install and maintain billboards for brands in the surrounding area. This full‑time position involves handling large vinyl advertisements, performing construction maintenance, and working largely alone while managing your own schedule.

Monday – Thursday, 6am – 4pm schedule

Hourly rate starting at $18/hour, based on experience

A Day In The Life As an Installer, you will work with the Operations team to install and maintain billboards, ensuring safety and quality. Tasks include handling large vinyl ads, assembling them to the structure, performing maintenance such as tightening bolts, painting, and repairing signage. The tallest billboard is ~200 feet tall, so comfort with heights is essential. You will bring your own experience with power/manual tools; we provide the equipment.

In This Role You'll Be Expected To

Remove, hang, cut, and prepare flexes and vinyls for installation

Build and install extensions, cut brush/weeds, conduct storm damage repairs and minor electrical work

Use power/manual tools safely and maintain a clean workshop area

Attend installer and construction safety meetings as required

Maintain operation vehicles, tools, and equipment

Take completion photos to prove performance of installations

What We're Looking For In YOU

Ability to work alone and manage your schedule

Willingness to work at heights up to 100 feet and to use ladders

Strong communication skills in English

Basic computer skills (Internet, Word, Excel)

Knowledge of electrical, fabrication, and construction techniques

Ability to read technical documents, blueprints, and diagrams

Familiarity with Lamar, DOT, and OSHA safety regulations

Safety‑first mindset and ability to use construction equipment

Documentation skills (photos, written logs)

Mathematics skills applicable to construction tasks

Prioritization skills to manage job responsibilities effectively

Education And Experience Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent (required)

Valid driver’s license (required)

OSHA 10‑hour Construction course completion (required)

CDL and Non‑CDL licenses are a plus

Prior experience at heights up to 200 feet is preferred

Construction or billboard installation experience is a plus

Physical Demands And Work Environment

Mainly outdoors; ability to work in adverse weather and climb to heights up to 200 ft.

Heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs), extensive bending, reaching, standing, walking, driving, and climbing.

Less than 10% nights spent traveling away from home.

On‑call shifts may be required.
