Overview
Job Title: English/Spanish Employee Support Interpreter
Location: Jefferson City, MO
2nd shift or 3rd shift positions available
Contract: Jan 26 - July 25 2026
Responsibilities
Listen to, understand, and translate spoken or written statements from Spanish to English or English to Spanish.
Translate work instructions between supervisor and employees.
Demonstrate interpersonal communication skills.
Ensure accuracy in translation.
Pay attention to details.
Be proficient in software tools related to tasks at hand.
Be self-motivated and able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.
Relay the tone and style of the original language.
Render spoken messages clearly, accurately, and quickly.
Maintain concentration while others are moving or speaking around them.
Be sensitive to cultural expectations and differences amongst employees.
Listen carefully when interpreting for audiences to ensure accurate comprehension.
Desire to grow within manufacturing.
Qualifications
3 or more years in translation experience preferred.
Fluency in English and Spanish (verbal and written).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Spanish.
Strong understanding of grammar.
Experience in manufacturing industry (preferred but willing to train).
Physical & Work Environment Requirements
Ability to work on-site in a manufacturing facility (exposure to noise, machinery; PPE required).
Must be able to stand, walk and communicate effectively for extended periods.
Flexibility to work across shifts as needed for meetings, trainings, or production support: 2nd shift (3:30 pm - 11:30 pm) and 3rd shift (11:30 pm - 7:30 am).
